River Otters and St. Baldrick's Raise Cancer Cure Money

St. Charles, MO -- The Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League are proud to announce that they raised money to help cure children's cancer Tuesday morning at a special event sponsored by St. Baldrick's and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.

The event occurred Tuesday, March 1 at the St. Louis Mills IceZone. River Otters forwards Jim Montgomery, Glenn Detulleo, and Quinten Van Horlick all shaved their heads to help raise money for finding a cure for children with cancer. Channel 4 (CBS-KMOV) covered the event live on their Tuesday Morning Show with Virginia Kerr.

St. Baldrick's is a grassroots, volunteer organization that began in 2000 and has raised nearly $7 million to help find a cure for children with cancer. They can be found online at www.StBaldricks.org.
