St. Charles, MO --- The Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League are proud to announce the signing of Brad MacMillan, a 21-year-old forward that made his presence felt in the North American Hockey League with both his skill and his toughness.
Playing for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs last season, MacMillan scored 23 goals and piled up a league high 280 penalty minutes in 50 games. The 5'11'', 205 pound Calgary native also led the league with 14 major penalties and was second on his team with five game winning goals.
"Brad's a guy that plays with an edge," River Otters head coach Kevin Kaminski said. "He'll bring a lot of energy to the table and do whatever it takes to help out the team."
The River Otters start their Colonial Cup quest Friday, October 15 at Kansas City, and the home opener is Saturday, October 23 against Quad City.
