San Diego Riptide News Release
The San Diego Riptide are hosting an open house for all fans this Saturday, March 30 from 1-5 PM at the San Diego Sports Arena. Admission is free with an optional donation to the Greater San Diego Inner-City Games Program.
The team will practice from 1-2:30 PM and will begin a full scrimmage around 2:45. When the first eight footballs sail into the stands during the scrimmage, the lucky fan (s) that grabs them gets to keep the official Wilson game ball and get it signed by the entire team after the scrimmage.
In this all-day event, fans can watch the Riptide scrimmage, interact with their favorite players and reserve tickets for the upcoming season. Fans who have not yet purchased season tickets can choose the best available locations in the arena, observing the view they will have for each game.
Both season and individual game tickets can be purchased at the scrimmage.
Season tickets begin at $57 for eight exciting, high-scoring, non-stop, in-you-face football games at the Sports Arena.
Individual tickets start at just $5 and can be purchased by calling the Riptide offices (858.404.0232), going to the San Diego Sports Arena or logging on to ticketmaster.com.
The Riptide's first game the following Saturday (April 6), when they take on the Bakersfield Blitz at 7:00pm at the Sports Arena.
