Brigade to Host Pioneers on Thursday Night

Rochester Brigade News Release


(Rochester, N.Y.)-Head Coach/General Manager Mark Saunders announced that the Rochester Brigade is hosting a pre-season scrimmage against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 28, at the Blue Cross Arena.

"This is going to be a big test for the team...we need to continue making progress each week, leading up to the regular season," commented Saunders.

General admission tickets are free to the public, with two-dollar donations being accepted at the door for the United Way. The United Way will show their gratitude and raffle off a pair of Brigade season tickets, football and Brigade workout gear.

The team will be practicing this week at the Total Sports Experience on Tuesday, March 26, from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 27, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM; however, the team will not hold practice on Friday, March 29. The final 21-man roster will be selected by Sunday, March 31.

The Brigade kicks-off their second season of action in a Northeast Divisional battle against the New Haven Ninjas on Saturday, April 6, at the Blue Cross Arena. Game time is set for a 7:30 pm start.
