
Riley Sharun Named Wings Captain

The Aberdeen Wings Announce today, that first year forward Riley Sharun has been named team captain by the Wings Coaching staff. "Riley has grown on this staff since the start of recruiting him, he is a humble young man that cares more about his teammates and the logo than he does himself. He will put his teammates first in every situation and make those around him into leaders as well. We look forward to the direction that this team is headed with Riley wearing the C." Riley a native of West Kelowna BC , Canada is a 4 Year Junior Player that has seen a lot of different dressing rooms and different types of teams has experience to build on his leadership. "The impact he has on his teammates is exceptional" said Coach Langer. "He is an ultimate professional & shows up for work everyday."

Riley becomes the 14th Captain in Team history. The Wings will host the Bismarck Bobcats this Friday & Saturday at the Odde Ice Center. Doors open at 5:30 and the puck drops at 7:15pm.
