
Rijo Reinstated from Injured List, Transferred to FCL

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels have reinstated Luis Rijo from the 60-day Injured List and have transferred him to the FCL Twins.
Rijo has made five appearances with four starts over a rehab assignment with the FCL Twins, tossing 11.0 scoreless innings with a 14:3 K:BB ratio and a .205 batting average against. The righthander was placed on the 60-day Injured List on April 8 due to right elbow UCL reconstruction.
