
Rights to Dave Stewart Dealt To Missouri

Moline, IL-Quad City Mallards Head Coach and General Manager Brian Curran announced today that the team has traded the rights to veteran forward Dave Stewart to the Missouri River Otters. In exchange, the Mallards receive cash considerations.
"I talked to Dave at length," said Curran. "He requested a trade to Missouri where he has many close friends. He enjoyed his time here, but he made a family decision and requested a trade to Missouri."
The Mallards are on the ice Friday night at The MARK vs. the Flint Generals. Game time is 7 p.m. Ten lucky fans will be called down to the ice to catch $10,000 from Casino Rock Island. It's also a Happy Joe's Puck N Pizza Package Friday. For $65, fans receive four lower bowl tickets and a large up-to-two topping pizza from Happy Joe's. For $45, fans receive four upper bowl tickets and a large up-to-two topping pizza from Happy Joe's. This special offer is available exclusive at The MARK box office.
The fun continues on Sunday as the Mallards host Rockford in a 1 p.m. start. At 11:30 a.m., the Mallards are hosting a pre-game Hog Roast on the courtyard next to the Riverhouse Restaurant. The Hog Roast is presented by DJ's Ribs, Miller Lite and the River House Pub & Grill. During the game, the Mallards will be wearing special Halloween themed jerseys. Fans can bid on these jerseys in a silent auction with a portion of the proceeds going to Gilda's Club. Winners of the silent auction will be announced during the Mallards Post-Game Party at the Riverhouse on Sunday after the game.

On Saturday, the Mallards journey to Rockford for their first meeting of 2005-06 with the Rockford IceHogs. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The Mallards Pre-Game Show begins at 6:40 p.m. During the intermission, stay tuned for the Swiss Valley Farms Intermission Report. After the game, the Allstate Insurance Christy Cox Post-Game Show will air.
