Riders Training Camp - Day 1

The following is the Day 1 report from the 2015 Roughrider Training Camp.
ROSTER MOVES

OVERVIEW
Training camp opened with an hour long walk through session in the morning before the players took to the field for an hour and forty-five minute afternoon practice.
91 players took to the field split with 46 internationals and 45 nationals. Of the 45 nationals 16 were non-counters broken into seven from the 2015 Draft, the CFL allotted four Canadian non-counters, four territorial juniors, and one CIS developmental quarterback.
PLAY OF THE DAY
Added to the roster earlier in the day kicker Ray Early unleashed a handful of booming punts that caught the attention of the crowd on hand.

So as of now, it's just focusing on my throws, learning the system, doing all of the little things that come first and then once you get into the heat of the battle you can't think about it, you just turn it loose and whatever happens will happen." FANS SHOW SUPPORT
A few hundred fans strolled into the University of Saskatchewan's Griffiths Stadium on a sunny and windy day for the Riders first on field workouts of camp. The excitement was high as fans cheered loudly following a couple of outstanding plays by fan favourites Weston Dressler, Darian Durant, and Rob Bagg.
FAN ACCESS
Select players will be available to fans for autographs along the west fence line following the afternoon practices throughout the week.
TOMORROW
Players and coaches will hit the practice field at Griffiths Stadium for Day 2 of training camp with two practice sessions. The first practice will take place at 8:30 am, while the second will run from approximately 3:00-4:45 pm.
