
Riders Sign Pair On Defence

Saskatchewan Roughrider General Manager and VP of Football Operations Eric Tillman announced today the team has signed defensive backs Lance Frazier and Sean Lucas to one-year plus an option contracts. Financial details of the signings were not released.
Frazier was signed by the Green and White in October of last year after being released by the NFL's Seattle Seahawks. The West Virginia product dressed in the Riders' final regular season game in Edmonton where he had two defensive tackles. Frazier spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys where he dressed in 12 games and compiled 38 tackles, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery.
Lucas spent the season on the Riders' development roster prior to dressing as a starter in the team's last game in Edmonton. The defensive back spent four seasons at Tulane University where he accumulated 291 tackles, two quarterback sacks, and eight interceptions in 47 games. He was signed as a free agent by the Green and White in May of 2006.
