
Riders re-sign Eddie Davis

The Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club announced today that they have re-signed import defensive back Eddie Davis. Details of the contract were not released.
Davis is entering his fourth season with the Green and White. The ten-year CFL veteran started all 18 regular season games last year, as well as the Western Semi-Final and Western Final. The halfback was a key member of the Rider secondary that allowed the fewest passing touchdowns in the CFL.
Davis recorded 45 defensive tackles, eight special teams tackles, and one interception last season. Davis has also spent time with Calgary and Birmingham.
