Ride the Fan Bus to Quad City as the War on I-74 Continues

PEORIA – On Friday, May 2, 2003, the Peoria Pirates are offering fans a chance to support the team with a fan bus to the Quad City game. The game will feature the intense rivalry of the Quad City Steamwheelers and your Peoria Pirates, as the Pirates defend their "Ruler of the River" title.

The trip is offered to all Pirates fans for just $30.00. The fee includes
· Ticket to the game
· Pirates T-shirt
· Cost of the bus

Fans are encouraged to bring beverages and snacks for the bus ride. The bus will leave promptly at 4:30pm from Expo Gardens. Please arrive by 4:00pm to begin boarding. The bus will depart immediately after the game and will arrive back at Expo Gardens.

To reserve your seat on the fan bus, please contact the Pirates office: 309-637-7777. Payment must be made in advance to the Pirates office. You may charge by phone or make checks payable to the Peoria Pirates. The reservation deadline is Wednesday, April 30, 2003. Sign up today!

The series with the Steamwheelers is tied 2-2. In their last match up, the Pirates defeated the Steamwheelers 67-43 in the Quad Cities on June 1st, last year. The Pirates have beaten them twice in a row; let's help to make it three!
