STJ 3 vs HFD 1

The IceCaps launched the 2015-16 season with a victory in Hartford. Jeremy Gregoire scored his first pro-goal, a shorthanded marker, which doubled as the game-winner. Bud Holloway and Charles Hudon also scored for St. John's.

Sunday, Oct. 11

BRI 6 vs STJ 1

Angelo Miceli's first pro-goal was enough to tie the game at one goal apiece, but the hometown Bridgeport Sound Tigers stormed back to put five goals past Dustin Tokarski to claim victory.

3 THINGS TO KNOW

Weekend of Firsts: Jeremy Gregoire and Angelo Miceli each scored their first pro goals during the IceCaps first two games of the 2015- 16. Gregoire's marker came in his first ever pro game, Friday night at Hartford (a 3-1 IceCaps win), while Miceli scored his first the next day in the IceCaps 6-1 loss at Bridgeport.

Crease cleared: With Eddie Pasquale dispatched to Brampton on Tuesday, the IceCaps appear to be set in goal now with veteran Dustin Tokarski (recently assigned from Montreal) and rookie prospect Zach Fucale.

Home-Opening Weekend: Tickets are still available for the IceCaps first home games of the season vs. Rochester, (7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday) at Mile One Centre.
