PEARL, MS - The Atlanta Braves have made the following roster moves affecting the M-Braves roster before tonight's 6:35 pm game at Montgomery. RHP Elian Leyva has been transferred to Mississippi from Triple-A Gwinnett and LHP Tyler Pike has been placed on the 7-day DL.

Leyva, 29, has combined for a 3-1 record and 2.75 ERA (18 ER/59.0 IP), 15 walks and 52 strikeouts this season in 26 games between Mississippi and Gwinnett. Leyva is 2-0 with a 2.78 ERA (10 ER/32.1 IP), seven walks and 32 strikeouts in 14 games, including one start for the M-Braves this season.

Leyva has been another well-traveled pitcher for the Braves this season, being transferred to Triple-A Gwinnett four times this season. Leyva will begin his fifth stint with the M-Braves.

The Braves signed the Cuban born Leyva as a non-drafted free agent on November 11, 2016.

Pike was acquired by the Braves as the player to be named later from the Seattle Mariners on December 9, 2016, completing a trade in which Atlanta received OF Alex Jackson from Seattle in exchange for RHP Rob Whalen and RHP Max Povse on November 28, 2016.

The Mississippi Braves roster currently stands at 25 active players and four on the DL.
