Friday: Lone Star Brahmas 1 @ El Paso Rhinos 2 - Rhinos play host this weekend to the visiting Lone Star Brahmas. On this first game of the home series defense was on point on both teams for both a scoreless first, and second periods. These scoreless periods wouldn't be possible without Michael Manzi blocking all 7 shots on goal. Moving on to the third period Rhinos hit the scoreboard first as Tory Lund gives us our first goal of the night. The Brahmas respond less than a minute later to tie the game at 1-1, but the Rhinos wouldn't let up. Anthony Eaton once more takes the lead with another goal, within the same minute as the last two goals. This explosive exchange would give the Rhinos a 2-1 lead which they would maintain until the end of the game.
