Friday: Amarillo Wranglers 5 @ El Paso 1 - Rhinos & Wranglers met head-to-head Friday night for their first game of the series. Kyle Demarco spearheads the Wrangler's offense, scoring at 2:13 into the first period. Jack Anderson puts the Rhinos on the board roughly four minutes into the second period, momentarily bringing the game to a tie. Unfortunately this would be the Rhinos' last goal of the night as the Wranglers went on to score four more. Tommy Chunchukov & TJ Koufis in the second period followed by Adrian Carney & Kristaps Skrastins all together bring the Wranglers' total score to 5, Rhinos end the night trailing
Saturday: Amarillo Wranglers 3 @ El Paso 2 - Returning to the ice after last night's game the Rhinos & Wranglers fight it out once more. Nick Turek puts the Rhinos on the board with the only goal of the period. WIth Rhinos leading 1-0 at the start of the second period, Kristaps Skrastins temporarily ties the game with a goal for the Wranglers. Jonathan Horn scores one last time for the Rhinos this game halfway into the second period. The Final scores of the night go to the Wranglers as Michael Marquez and Skrastins for his second goal of the night both sink pucks in the net. Wranglers end the game with a 3-2 lead
