Carolina Rhinos News Release
GREENVILLE, SC â The League office of arenafootball2 and the Carolina Rhinos have announced the re-launch of the team's web site at its new address www.rhinosfootball.com. The re-launch comes as the Rhinos prepare for their first home game of the season this Friday April 19th at 7:30 p.m. versus the Macon Knights.
The new site contains up to date team and League statistics, player information, game schedules and results, ticket information, links to other sites and a link to live webcasts of all road and playoff games.
Macon beat the Rhinos 54-18 in the season opener in Georgia on April 6th. The Rhinos are now 0-3 in season-opening games, but they have won their last eight straight home games. Friday's game will be the home-field debut for new Rhinos head coach Rod Miller who took over the reigns of the team this past offseason after serving on the coaching staff each of the previous two seasons.
The first five-thousand fans who enter Friday's game will receive a Rhinos poster schedule courtesy of Mountain Dew and Charter Communications. There will also be a post-game party where fans can mingle with coaches and players at the Ramada Inn off Church Street. Yellow cab will also be available to shuttle fans to the party from the BI-LO Center.
2002 Rhinos individual game tickets are on sale and can be purchased in person at the BI-LO Center box office from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday or during an event. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling either 864-233-2525 or 864-576-1550 and online at ticketmaster.com.
