El Paso Rhinos News Release

The Rhinos have a jam-packed November ahead! El Pasoans will have ten chances to catch hockey in Rhino Country and donate toys for children in need during the Holiday season.

Throughout the remaining games in 2022, the Rhinos, led by forward Frank Tafelski, will collect soccer balls and new, unwrapped toys for La Posada Home, the Salvation Army, and other organizations who serve children in need during the Holidays. Last season, Tafelski rallied Rhino fans and players to collect hundreds of toys that were delivered to the Child Crisis Center. This season, he hopes to continue the impact on the community. "We're just hoping to put smiles on kids' faces during the holidays. We're grateful to have the opportunity to support our community and hopefully we can expand our impact this year," Tafelski said. Collection boxes will be at every Rhino home game throughout November and December. Individuals who wish to donate but cannot attend a game can leave toys at the rink (4100 E. Paisano) during the business week.

Tafelski and the NAHL team will kick off November with a series against the Corpus Christi Ice Rays on Nov. 4-5. A week later, Nov. 11-13, the NA3HL team will play the Mid-Cities Jr. Stars in the first of two back-to-back series. On Nov. 18-20, the Atlanta Capitals come to the Sun City for an NA3HL matchup before the NAHL team concludes November with a two-game series against the Shreveport Mudbugs on Nov. 25-26. The puck drops at 7 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 4:30 pm on Sundays at the El Paso County Events Center. Tickets start at $5 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or the Coliseum Box Office.
