Rhino Recognized for Tremendous Football Season

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (MARCH 18, 2013) - Rhino Sports & Entertainment Services teamed with Wake Forest Athletics to provide unsurpassed customer service at the school's 2012 football games, and the new relationship proved to be a great one.
Rhino earned four honors from Ephus 21, which is the industry leader in measuring the effectiveness of collegiate athletic programs' management of the game day experience. In 2012, Ephus 21 measured fan experiences at 20 Division I programs throughout the country, including Florida, Notre Dame, Texas and Virginia Tech.
Ephus 21 announced that Rhino won the "Usher Team" award for the best group of ushers among the programs they visited. Rhino also took home the "Overall Individual Effort" honor in parking and the "Inside Stadium" individual award within the guest services category.
Steve Miller helped Rhino claim the fourth and highest honor by taking home the overall "Most Valuable Performer" award within the ushering department. Ephus 21 considered thousands of ushers across the country and chose Miller out of that group.
"We are thrilled to receive these awards from an organization as well-respected and thorough as Ephus 21," Rhino Vice President of Operations Brett Hickman said. "Rhino's vision is to create an unforgettable experience for everyone who attends a Wake Forest game, and these awards validate our efforts. We have unique recruiting, training and team-building methods that create a great experience for our staff and, ultimately, for our clients."
Wake Forest became Rhino's first client in July of 2012. Less than two months later, hundreds of Winston-Salem citizens were working as members of the event staff for the Demon Deacons' home football games and other athletic events. Many of these employees work for the Winston-Salem Dash and will work for Rhino's clients.
Rhino Sports & Entertainment Services offers a wide range of event management services for sports and entertainment facilities, including ticket takers, ushers, parking and gate attendants, security staff and general game-day operations. Rhino provides services to universities, municipalities and other organizations. Based in Winston-Salem, N.C., Rhino is an outgrowth of the Winston-Salem Dash Minor League Baseball Team, an organization widely known and respected for providing a superior customer service experience.
