New England Revolution News Release

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The Eastern Conference leading New England Revolution travels for the first of two road games this week when the team meets the Colorado Rapids in Commerce City, Colo., on Thursday, Aug. 16. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET (7 p.m. MT) and the game will be televised live on Fox Sports New England. (PLEASE NOTE: Both the time and TV outlet are changes from the team's originally published schedule.) The WEEI Radio Network will carry the game live on the radio.

New England (10-4-6, 36 pts.) is tied with Dallas for the league's top points mark and also is the only Eastern Conference team with 10 wins. The Revs are six points ahead of second-place D.C. in the East, and meet a Colorado (5-9-6, 21 pts.) team that snapped a 10-game winless streak on Saturday with a 1-0 victory over then-Western Conference leader Houston.

The Revs have MLS' top attack, scoring a league-best 34 goals and averaging 1.70 goals per game to again lead the league.

This is the first of two meetings between the two teams this year, as the second match of the two-game series will be played at Gillette Stadium on Sept. 29.
