New England Revolution II Head Coach Clint Peay
On his overall assessment of the game:
Peay: "I thought the guys played a good game, were able to create some decent chances and really limit them to very little, possess most of the ball. And I thought overall again, good performance, just missing the final product and sometimes that happens and it's unfortunate, but I was happy that we kept a clean sheet."
On Jacob Jackson's performance so far this season:
Peay: "Yeah, I think he's been big in some games where he's had to come up and make some saves. Obviously tonight, nothing other than sort of routine saves and not very many, so he was steady, solid, and he was good for us."
On Triton Beauvois making his professional debut tonight:
Peay: "Yeah, he's a guy with some pace and some energy and I think he shows that in training and we were short a little bit, so we knew we had to go to the well a little bit with some younger guys, and he's been working hard with us and deserved an opportunity to kind of get on the field and see if he can make a difference."
On Pierre Cayet's first start of the season:
Peay: "Pierre [Cayet] is a leader for our group. He's steady back there, he helps us maintain the ball. He also is good at starting our attack and I can't say enough about kind of the qualities that he has as a player. I think getting 90 minutes under his belt was huge for his psyche and obviously physically for him to be able to do that in a little bit more humid conditions here than back home."
Revolution Academy Forward Triton Beauvois
On what it was like to make his professional debut:
Beauvois: "It was great. Making my pro debut was something I wanted to do since I was a kid, and now to have an opportunity to do it with the New England Revolution, my home club, it's good, really good experience."
On how Revolution Academy prepared him for that moment:
Beauvois: "They prepared me well. All of the coaches are very critical with me and my attack ability as a forward, so they prepped me well, very well."
On how he hopes to build off this moving forward:
Beauvois: "I'm looking to move forward, keep building off of my debut and push forward. Now I know, I have the exposure of what the level is like so all I have to do is keep working so I can stay here."
