Rescheduled Game with Wichita Is Set

Allen, Texas - The Central Hockey League announced today that the make-up date for the cancelled game between the Allen Americans and Wichita Thunder has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 19th at 7:05 pm at Wichita.

The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, December 26th at Wichita, but had to be postponed due to icy roadways in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, which made for unsafe travel conditions for the Allen Americans.

"We never like to cancel games but the road conditions on December 26th dictated this necessary move," said Bob Hoffman, CHL Director of Operations. "We wish to thank both teams for their cooperation in getting this alternate date confirmed."

The game was added to what now is a seven game road trip for the Allen Americans beginning on February 9th in Wichita. They will also play at Tulsa on February 10th and 12th, at Fort Worth on February 15th, in Missouri on February 16th, then back to Wichita to wrap-up the road trip for games against the Thunder on February 17th and 19th at INTRUST Bank Arena.

The Allen Americans next home game is this Friday, January 11th at 7:05 pm against the Fort Worth Brahmas. Tickets are available online at www.allenamericans.com Call 972-912-1000 for more information.
