Republic FC Will Recognize over 150 Youth Soccer Players at Upcoming Home Matches

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento Republic FC will recognize over 150 youth soccer players at the club's upcoming home matches, today, March 24, and April 6. The players, who range from ages nine to 13, will be honored before the matches in recognition of their NorCal State Cup accomplishments.

"The Sacramento region has one of the most vibrant and talented youth soccer communities in the entire country," said Republic FC President & COO Ben Gumpert. "We're excited to provide a memorable experience for these champion athletes and continue to help foster youth participation at every level in our region."

Organized by NorCal Premier Soccer, the NorCal State Cup runs from September through February and features over 1,500 boys and girls youth teams ages U-9 to U-13 from the Northern California region. The players being honored by Republic FC across the two matches won cup titles at the tournament.

Republic FC continue their 2019 season at home this afternoon against OKC Energy FC. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and tickets to the match are available via Ticketmaster.com and the official Republic FC app.
