SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento Republic FC will be honoring the men and women who serve in the United States Armed Forces during the club's July 3rd match against Fresno FC.
Over 600 service members and their families will be in attendance at Papa Murphy's Park as Republic FC hosts the club's annual "Salute to Service Night.' As part of the night's tributes, both active military and veteran service members will be part of the player walkouts and serve as flag bearers during the national anthem. Fans will also get to see over a dozen Army recruits take their oath and be sworn in on the pitch at halftime.
