
Republic FC Announces MLS Block Party

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 7, 2016) - Today, Sacramento Republic FC announced plans for an MLS Block Party at Firestone Public House and de Vere's Irish Pub on Thursday, April 14 to welcome MLS Commissioner Don Garber and the MLS delegation to Sacramento.
As announced last week, Commissioner Garber and Deputy Commissioner Mark Abbott will lead a delegation of MLS executives visiting Sacramento to meet with Republic FC and learn more about Sacramento's bid for an MLS team.
Fans are encouraged to arrive at 11 a.m. showcasing their finest Republic FC gear. The Block Party will include appearances by Republic FC players, drink and food specials, prizes and more. Anyone passionate about Sacramento, football/soccer and bringing MLS to the region are encouraged to attend.
Both Firestone Public House and de Vere's Irish Pub, located directly next door to each other, will be showing UEFA Europa League matches including stage two of the quarterfinal between Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool FC.
