Reno Bighorns Win Back to Back Games against Maine

RENO, NV - The Reno Bighorns won an overtime thriller against the Maine Red Claws 101-95 on Saturday night at the Reno Events Center. The Bighorns won back to back games versus Maine and their record now stands at 19-13.

The game was close until the third quarter, when the Bighorns increased their lead to ten points. DeQuan Jones scored 9 points in the third quarter and KC Rivers added 7 as the Bighorns outscored the Red Claws 31-25 in the third frame.

Maine came back to tie the game in the 4th quarter with Brandon Heath's last second three pointer hitting the rim and missing the mark. The teams headed into overtime tied at 93.

In OT, Reno built a three point lead and sealed the victory with a couple of free-throws.

The top scorer for the Bighorns was KC Rivers with a game-high 26 points. He also added 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Mickell Gladness (17), DeQuan Jones (13) and Brandon Heath (14) also finished in double figures. Bryan Davis added 9 points and 8 rebounds.

For the Red Claws, Abdul Gaddy had 19 points, Frank Gaines tallied 18 points and Chris Wright added another 14 points. Abdul Gaddy also played well for Maine with 8 points and 7 assists.
