December 5, 2011 - NBA G League (G League)
Reno Bighorns News Release

RENO, NEV.- The Reno Bighorns have once again teamed up with Eyezone and team optometrist Dr. Daniel Rowan to host "Bighorns Day at Eyezone" on December 10th. This event is open to the public and will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Eyezone, located at 4796 Caughlin Parkway in Reno.

The spirit of the Holidays is here and Dr. Rowan would like to join the Bighorns in giving back to the community. Free eye exams and glasses will be provided at the event to those families who need the help this time of year. Children will be given first priority and space is limited. Contact the Bighorns front office to reserve a spot.

"Anytime we can help kids see is a great day," said Dr. Rowan. "Then to have the public be given such intimate access to these professional athletes makes it even more special."

In attendance will be Bighorns players, dance team and mascot Bruno. Bighorns players will be helping kids pick out their free eye glasses throughout the event.

"We are ecstatic to team up with Dr. Rowan and Eyezone again this season," said Reno Bighorns Vice President Mike Reynolds. "Hosting these types of events is what we are all about at the Bighorns. Eyezone is the type of company that we like to partner with because of their emphasis on giving back to the community."

The Reno Bighorns next game is Friday, December 9th against the Texas Legends at the Reno Events Center. The theme for the game is Pack the Place Pink Night and fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast health awareness.

Season and group ticket packages are on sale today. Groups can experience one of the many Fan Experience Packages, including playing a game on the Bighorns court or performing a routine at halftime of a game. For more information call (775)853-8220 or visit RenoBighorns.com.
