Erie, Pennsylvania, Monday, December 5 - The Erie BayHawks have acquired guard Mike Gerrity from the NBA Development League's available player pool.
Gerrity (6-1, 180) played collegiately at USC where during his senior season he averaged 9.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
Erie's roster currently stands at 12 players. Last Monday the NBA D-League announced teams are permitted to temporarily expand rosters up to 12 players in preparation for the start of NBA training camps.
Erie (2-3) split games with the Iowa Energy in Des Moines over the weekend and return to action at home on Friday night to face the Canton Charge, the Cleveland Cavaliers new affiliate. On Saturday, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants visit Erie for their first meeting of the season. Tip-off is set for 7pm both nights at Tullio Arena.
