Reno Aces at Tacoma
Published on September 2, 2016 under Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Reno Aces News Release
By the Numbers - 6 & 7 of 8: If the Aces can win at least one of the four games in the season-ending series at Tacoma, they will secure a winning record against their own division for the sixth consecutive season and the seventh time in eight years in franchise history. Reno has been .500 or better against its own division every year but 2010, when the Aces were 22-26 against the Pacific South.
They Put Up a Good Fight: With their loss to Sacramento last night, the Aces were eliminated from playoff contention. Tacoma clinched the Pacific Northern Division title, punching the fourth and final ticket to the Pacific Coast League postseason.
Winning in Washington: The Aces won three of four games during their first trip to Tacoma back in June. Reno has posted a losing record at Cheney Stadium just once in franchise history, dropping five of eight games in 2012.
