Manager of the Year: Sounds Manager Steve Scarsone was named Pacific Coast League Manager of the Year today. He's the fifth Nashville skipper to be tabbed his league's Manager of the Year. He joins Carl "Stump" Merrill (1980 - Southern League), Rick Renick (1993 & 1996 - American Association) and Frank Kremblas (2007 - Pacific Coast League).

Seriously Series: The last time the Sounds lost a series was July 7-10 against New Orleans. Over the 12 series since then, they have won seven, lost zero and split five.

Overton Goes for #14: Pitcher Dillon Overton goes for win number 14 in his final start of the regular season. At 13 wins, Overton is tied for 10th among single-season leaders in franchise history. The last pitcher to win 13 games prior to Overton was R.A. Dickey in 2007. The last to win 14 games was Rodney Bolton in 1995. The Sounds are 14-6 in games Overton has started in 2016.

All-Time Road Mark Set: The Sounds won their 47th game on the road Sunday in Memphis. It's a franchise-high for the team surpassing the 46 wins the 1980 team won away from Nashville. The previous PCL-high for the Sounds was 41 road wins in 2007. At 47-21, the Sounds have the best road record in professional baseball.
