Renegades unveil Floyd as Field Sponsor and Official Health Care Provider

ROME, Ga. –The Rome Renegades are pleased to announce the partnership of Floyd healthcare system as Field Sponsor and official health care provider of the Renegades team.

The Renegades will play their inaugural season on Floyd field and will be medically treated by the staff of the Floyd healthcare system, the largest health care provider in the region. The sponsorship was unveiled at the "Meet the Coaches" event on Thursday evening at the Coosa Country Club. The familiar Floyd logo will be prominently featured at center field for every home game. Fans will become accustom to seeing the Renegade black & silver along with the Floyd green.

As the official health care provider of the Rome Renegades, Floyd will provide health care services for players, cheerleaders, coaches and staff. Floyd Rehabilitation Services' Sports Medicine will supply the team's athletic trainers. "Realizing our players will have access to medical expertise, advanced technology and the best treatment available is an important component of our game plan," said Renegades owner Harry Pierce.

"Floyd is proud to support the NIFL and is excited the franchise has established a team in Rome," said Floyd president and CEO Kurt Stuenkel. "As the official health care provider, we are committed to providing the Renegades, along with all of Northwest Georgia, with the best health care available in this region."

Over 200 Renegade supporters came out to the "Meet the Coaches" event. "We have had such tremendous support from local businesses and community organizations, such as Rome Ford Lincoln Mercury, Nextel, Q-102, U.S. Marines, Jason Free Realty, Alarms Plus, and many more. The Rome community has embraced the inception of this team, and for that we are sincerely grateful," said Harry Pierce.

Along with the successful selling of corporate sponsorships, season ticket sales are equally strong. Twenty-five percent of the arenas available seating has already been sold. To purchase season tickets, go by the Forum box office, quick!
