Cincinnati Marshals announce official "Voices of the Marshals"

February 10, 2005 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL) - The Marshals News Release

Cincinnati, OH – The Cincinnati Marshals of the National Indoor Football League announce the addition of a local play-by-play announcer, Jeff Piecoro, and Color Analyst, Kevin “House” Olthaus, as the official “Voices of the Marshals” for the 2005 season.

Jeff currently does the play-by-play for the University of Cincinnati Bearcats basketball on WXIX Fox 19 and hosts the Jeff Piecoro Show on 1360 Homer and the Real Reds pre-game show on Fox Sports Net Ohio. In the fall Jeff serves as the pre-game and post-game host for the Cincinnati Bengals’ Radio Network and is the color analyst for the University of Kentucky Football Radio Network.

Kevin “House” Olthaus is a former analyst for Kentucky high school basketball on 1160 WBOB and a former executive producer for Chancellor Media and AMFM. His days as an intern with the Howard Stern Show are sure to allow Cincinnati Marshals fans an explicit look into the game of football.

Owner H.P. Patterson said, “I’m excited to have Jeff and House join the Marshals team. They are exactly what this organization was looking for, and with their levels of expertise in both sports and entertainment we thought it to be a perfect fit. I’m sure this place will be rockin’.”

The Marshals kick off their inaugural season on March 26, 2005 at 7:30pm at U.S. Bank Arena vs the Beaumont Drillers. Season tickets are on sale now with individual game tickets going on sale soon! For more information or to purchase season tickets call 513-381-TURF or visit us online at
