Hawgs find on air home at WSBB

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. â The Daytona Beach Hawgs have found a place on the radio dial for their inaugural National Indoor Football League season.
WSBB (1230 AM) will serve as home of the Hawgs' gameday broadcasts and weekly coaches show beginning in March.
WSBB's signal extends from Flagler County to the north to Cape Canaveral in the south.
"No matter where you are in Volusia county, you'll be able to hear our broadcasts,'' said Hawgs Head Coach/General Manager Ervin Bryson. "I want to thank Zack McDonald CEO of TUI Business Machines, for making this possible."
"We had interest from many radio stations, but WSBB not only agreed to broadcast every Hawg game but also will broadcast the Coaches' Show." Bryson added. "We have a home at WSBB"''
Station owner Brian Tolby said: "We're excited to be the home of Hawgs football. We hope we can assist in bringing professional football to our region."
The Hawgs' weekly coaches' show will originate from Daytona Lagoon, located across the street for the Ocean Center, site of the Hawgs' seven home games.
On-air talent will be announced shortly.
The Hawgs open their inaugural season March 19 on the road at Lakeland, with the home opener March 24 against New Jersey. Season tickets are available by calling the Ocean Center box office at (386) 254-4545.
