Renegades defeat Dayton Warbirds 61 to 51

ROME, Ga. – With a final score of 61 to 51, the Rome Renegades defeated the Dayton Warbirds. Tonight's victory evened out Rome's record (6-6) and brought a spot in the play-offs one step closer.

Gaining 260 yards offensively, the Renegades were led by quarterbacks Bo Bartick and J.R. Revere. Bartick was 9-17 with four touchdowns, and Revere was 9-11 with one touchdown. Running back, Perry Tisdale had 12 carries for 32 yards.

Anchoring tonight's win defensively was Jason Colts with 10 solo tackles and 4 assists. Both Prentice Purnell and Eugene Phillips each had a sack.

The Renegades will head out of town next weekend to take on the Odessa Roughnecks. Be sure to tune into Q-102 for all the on the road play by play action. Kick-off is Saturday, June 18 at 7:11 p.m. CST/8:11 p.m. EST.

Be sure to make plans to attend the Renegades last home game of this inaugural season. Saturday, June 25 the Renegades will host the Daytona Beach Hawgs. This will be Rome's second match-up against these tough conference opponents. Come out and cheer on the Renegades as they set their sights on another win at home!
