Rome Renegades News Release
Rome GA - The National Indoor Football League (NIFL) officially announced its 2005 schedule in Rome, Georgia today, including a 14 game Rome Renegades season. The Renegades have been placed in the new Central Division in the Atlantic Conference; the Renegades share this division with the Montgomery Maulers and the Fayetteville Heat, both expansion teams to the NIFL in 2005. The two-conference league will allow the top team in each of its six divisions a spot in the playoffs along with two wild cards.
The Rome Renegades home field is the Forum in Downtown Rome. The seven home games include three on Friday nights, three on Saturday nights, and one on Sunday. The full schedule is as follows:
Friday, March 25 vs. Montgomery Maulers at Home
Friday, April 1 vs. Southwest Louisiana Swashbucklers at Home
Saturday, April 9 vs. Everett Hawks in Everett, Washington
Saturday, April 16 vs. Fayetteville Heat in Fayetteville, North Carolina
Saturday, April 30 vs. Billings Outlaws in Billings, Montana
Sunday, May 8 vs. Fayetteville Heat at Home
Sunday, May 15 vs. Montgomery Maulers in Montgomery, Alabama
Friday, May 20 vs. Lakeland Thunderbolts at Home
Saturday, May 28 vs. Miami Morays at Home
Saturday, June 4 vs. Cincinnati Marshals in Cincinnati, Ohio
Saturday, June 11 vs. Kissimmee Kreatures at Home
Saturday, June 18 vs. Odessa Roughnecks in Odessa, Texas
Saturday, June 25 vs. Daytona Beach Hawgs at Home
Saturday, July 2 vs. Wyoming Cavalry in Casper, Wyoming
Season tickets are on sale now by calling the Forum in Rome at 706- 291-5281. All Friday and Saturday home games are played at 7:00 p.m., the Sunday game is at 2:00 p.m. Individual game tickets will go on sale in early March.
