
Renegades announce cheerleading partnership and tryouts

Rome, GA - Rome Renegades announce a partnership with local cheerleading business, Hot Shots. Hot Shots Cheerleading and Tumbling Center, owned by Rachel and Grant Magness, will become a sponsor for the Rome Renegades Cheerleaders and coordinate the recruitment, auditions, and training of the Rome Renegades cheerleaders.
Harry Pierce, co-owner of the Renegades, said, "We're excited about this partnership. We like to work with professionals that bring their experience and talent to the table. Rachel and Grant are energetic people with a strong understanding of the type of family-focused, wholesome entertainment we want to accompany our football team."
Benefits of being a Rome Renegades cheerleader include the exciting experience of performing live in front of 3000 people, a per diem of $25 per game and discounted season tickets, a practice uniform, appearance outfit, and game uniform for use during the season, media exposure, a professional photo shoot, the opportunity to appear at major public events, and the fun of meeting new friends.
Applications to become a cheerleader are available at Hot Shots on Iron Street in Rome. Adults over age 18 are welcome to complete an application and audition. Other requirements are that the applicant must be available to attend all home games including a dress rehearsal on the night before the game, a mini-camp, and 2 practices per week, and be available to attend public relations events from January through July 2005.
Tryouts will be held on Monday, January 17, at 9pm and Tuesday, January 18, at 9pm at Hotshots in Rome. Announcements of final squad selection will be released on Friday, January 21, 2005. The Rome Renegades indoor football team will begin playing at the Forum with their first game on March 25 against Montgomery Maulers. Season tickets are available now at the Forum.
