
Reiter Named Goaltender of the Week

St. Charles, MO --- The United Hockey League announced that Missouri River Otters Goaltender Kevin Reiter has been named the Southern Sports Supply UHL Goaltender-of-the-Week. It's the second time this season that Reiter has won the award.
"Kevin has been our best player game in and game out this season," said Frank Buonomo, River Otters General Manager. "He helped earn the team two victories last week and we congratulate him on this award."
Reiter, 24, recorded a 2-0-0 record last week with a 1.50 goals-against-average and a .955 save percentage. The Pittsburgh-native stopped 34 shots in last Wednesday's 4-1 victory against Port Huron and followed that up with 29-save performance last Friday in a 3-2 victory against the Flags.
Reiter has a 12-21-2 record this season and leads all UHL goaltenders with a .794 shootout save percentage. During the 2003-04 season Reiter went 19-11-3 with a 2.65 goals-against-average, a .907 save percentage, and five shutouts.
