Memorial Gathering - American Legion Field will be holding a memorial gathering on Thursday March 31st for Bob Berry. Mr. Berry passed away a few weeks back and baseball in Florence will sorely miss him. A memorial fund has been established and the funds from it will be used for a permanent memorial to him at American Legion Field. The event begins at 5pm and chicken bog plates will be served for a donation to the fund. All family, friends and people that knew of Bob's love for the game of baseball are encouraged to attend. Other activities are planned for people to express their appreciation for what Bob Berry did for the game in Florence and surrounding areas.
More 10's - In continued celebration for the 10th anniversary of local ownership of the RedWolves the team is offering a 10 ticket package. Through April 10th fans can purchase 10 packs of non dated general admission tickets for the 2011 season for $40, that's $10 off the regular rate. Call the RedWolves office for more information on how to take advantage of this limited time offer.
Host Families Still Needed - The RedWolves are looking for host families for the players and coaches of the 2011 team. Families are needed from May 29th - August 14th. More information on what hosting a RedWolf involves call the RedWolves office.
