The RedWolves announce the signing of two infielders for the upcoming season. Blake Massey a 5-11/175 Jr. SS from Alabama-Huntsville and Tyson Ashcraft a 6-3/195 So. utility player from Lipscomb will be big players both offensively and defensively for the team in 2013. Ashcraft is the younger brother of former player (2006) and assistant coach (2012) of the RedWolves, Trent Ashcraft. Ashcraft is also being used as a closing pitcher by Lipscomb this season.
RedWolves Promotion Nights - The opening week of RedWolves baseball will provide our fans with some great opportunities to come out and enjoy a night at the ball park. On Opening Night, May 28th, 2013 season magnet schedules will be given out to the fans, sponsored by Carolinas Hospital System and it will be $1 Bud/Coke night with Buffalo Wild Wing specials sponsored by Sports Radio 100.1 The Fan. May 30th will be the Grand Opening Night with post game fireworks sponsored by Wells Fargo. Saturday June 1st will be Hope Health night with free health screenings and giveaways during the game from the folks at Hope Health.
Host Families Still Needed- Host families for the 2013 players and coaches are still needed from late May - mid August. If your family is interested in becoming a host family call the RedWolves office at 629-0700 for more information.
RedWolves Camp - The 2013 RedWolves camp will be held at Sparrow Stadium June 10th-14th for ages 6-15. Camp will run 9am-12:30 each day and cost is $85 per camper. Sign up forms can be downloaded at www.florenceredwolves.com or pick up a form at All Star Sports.
