FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have re-signed LHP Scott Fogelson, signed 3B Eric Campbell and placed LHP Jeff Icenogle on the Inactive List, the Northern League club announced today. Fogelson and Campbell will be in Fargo when the club opens training camp on May 6 at Newman Outdoor Field.

Fogelson, 28, was 3-2 with a 3.66 ERA in 2009, his first season with the RedHawks. He made 15 starts and pitched 78.2 innings. Fogelson allowed 41 runs (32 earned) on 77 hits, struck out 61 batters and walked 42. He held opponents to a .263 batting average against him.

Fogelson, a Bemidji, Minn. native, is 21-23 with a 4.15 ERA in 92 games (63 starts) in his five-year professional career. He began his career with the Lincoln Saltdogs in 2005 and spent the 2006-2008 seasons in the Frontier League. Fogelson played college baseball at Emporia (Kan.) State University.

Campbell, 24, joins the RedHawks after spending six seasons in the Atlanta Braves organization. Last year, Campbell batted .241 with 16 doubles, one triple, five home runs, 38 RBIs and 28 runs scored in 104 games played for the Mississippi Braves of the Southern League (AA).

Campbell was originally selected by the Braved in the second round of the 2004 draft out of high school in Indiana. In his six-year career, Campbell has hit .263 with 104 doubles, seven triples, 85 home runs, 325 RBIs and 321 runs scored in 518 games.

Icenogle, 25, will start the season on the Inactive List. He joined the RedHawks in late July last season and was 3-2 with a 5.23 ERA in seven starts. He pitched 43.0 innings and allowed 25 runs (25 earned) on 40 hits. Icenogle struck out 38 batters and walked 22.
