SURPRISE, AZ – Oklahoma scored four runs in the sixth inning and held on to edge the Omaha Royals 6-5 in Cactus League action in Surprise, Arizona. The loss dropped Omaha's Spring Training record to 0-2.

The RedHawks trailed 3-2 entering the home half of the sixth, before rallying for the four runs off right-hander Mike Natale.

Royals catcher Jorge Maduro broke a 2-2 tie with a home run leading off the fifth inning. Omaha left fielder Cory Aldridge singled and walked twice in four trips to the plate, scoring a ninth inning run. The Royals scored single runs in the last two frames, but lost to Oklahoma for the second straight day.

Right-hander Trae McGill, who led the Carolina League and all Royals minor leaguers with a 2.08 ERA in 2004, recorded two scoreless innings for Omaha Tuesday. He gave up one hit and one walk in his first action this spring.

The Royals next Spring Training game is Thursday against Portland in Peoria. Omaha opens its 2005 Pacific Coast League regular season on April 7th at Round Rock. The Royals face the same club in their home opener at Rosenblatt Stadium on Friday, April 15th at 7:05 p.m.
