Adam Hyzdu drove in three runs and Robinson Tejeda won his second straight start as the RedHawks came within two outs of shutting out Memphis in a 5-1 win Wednesday afternoon at AutoZone Park.

Oklahoma is 6-1 on the current 12-game trip and is back to .500 at 33-33.

Hyzdu opened the scoring with a two-out, RBI double in the first off Memphis starter John Webb, who went five innings in a loss to drop to 3-3. After an RBI single by Drew Meyer in the fifth, Hyzdu followed with a two-run single to build a 4-0 lead.

Jason Hart led off the sixth with a home run off reliever Randy Leek to complete Oklahoma's scoring.

Tejeda (3-2) allowed just three singles in six innings, with two walks and eight strikeouts. Kevin Walker followed with two scoreless innings, increasing his scoreless streak to 9 2/3 innings. Wes Littleton allowed a one-out homer to Mike Rose in the ninth to break the shutout bid.

Memphis drops to 24-41. The RedHawks, up 2-1 in the series and 7-4 against Memphis this season, will try to win the series by sending PCL Pitcher of the Week Edinson Volquez to the mound Thursday at 7:10 p.m. CDT. Right-hander Travis Smith is set to go for Memphis.
