OTTAWA - The Ottawa REDBLACKS announced the following transactions today:
American defensive lineman Ja'Von Rolland-Jones
HEIGHT: 6-2 | WEIGHT: 253 lbs | BIRTHDAY: 1994-11-13
HOMETOWN: Mesquite, TX | SCHOOL: Arkansas State
Rolland-Jones, 27, spent 2018 training camp with the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals before spending some time on the Los Angeles Rams practice squad. In 2019, he made the move North, suiting up for four games with the Montreal Alouettes. Rolland-Jones played four seasons for the Arkansas State Red Wolves, recording 179 total tackles, 42 sacks and ten forced fumbles in 48 games.
American defensive back Tenny Adewusi
HEIGHT: 6-0 | WEIGHT: 206 lbs | BIRTHDAY: 1997-05-13
HOMETOWN: Lagos, Nigeria | SCHOOL: Delaware
Adewusi, 24, joins the REDBLACKS following a successful season at Delaware, where had 31 tackles and a forced fumble in his final season. He was drafted into the XFL in 2019 and joined the Dallas Renegades.
