RedBlacks Kick off 2024 Home Schedule on June 13

OTTAWA - When Week 2 of the 2024 CFL season kicks off, it will begin with the Ottawa REDBLACKS hosting the defending West Division Champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers, under the lights at TD Place on Thursday Night Football.

After a enjoying a bye during the season's opening week, the REDBLACKS face off with Winnipeg for the first time since their incredible "Crumback" win on June 13, as their nine-game home schedule gets underway. With the CFL returning to a format that sees all teams play each other during the regular season, the REDBLACKS will have home games against every other team, with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats serving as the only repeat visitor. The first visit by the Tiger-Cats on June 30 will take place on the REDBLACKS' annual Canada Day game at TD Place.

"The schedule release is always an exciting time as it brings into focus what lies ahead for the upcoming season," said REDBLACKS President Adrian Sciarra. "The 2024 schedule will not only see us once again play each team in the CFL, but offers us a balanced selection of days and start times, with something for everyone. We can't wait to welcome back RNation for REDBLACKS football at TD Place."

Ottawa's home schedule offers a balanced variety of game days in 2024, with three games on both Fridays and Saturdays, two Thursday games and a single Sunday matchup.

The REDBLACKS' road schedule will include two visits to the Grey Cup Champion Montreal Alouettes, and single meetings with the league's seven other teams. It will be a slate with its fair share of highlights; including Touchdown Pacific against the BC Lions in Victoria, the Hall of Fame game at Hamilton on September 14, and the Thanksgiving Classic at Montreal on October 14.

Ottawa will also play a pair of preseason games on May 25 at 2:00pm in Hamilton, and May 31 at 7:30pm at home against the Alouettes .

The 2024 CFL playoffs will wrap up with the 111th Grey Cup, from BC Place, on Sunday, November 17.
