GAME NOTES:

-TURNING POINT: The Paw Sox scored 6 times in the top of the 9th inning off Anthony Slama and Daniel Turpen to break open a 2-2 game... KEY MOMENT: The Red Wings put their first two runners aboard in the bottom of the 8th but Oscar Villarreal escaped unscathed to pick up the win in relief.

-Paw Sox starter, RHP Terry Doyle, who held the Wings without a hit for 7.1 innings last season while a member of the Charlotte Knights, went 4.2 innings on Monday without allowing a hit until Evan Bigley's clean line drive single to left.

-Jeff Clement picked up his first RBI of the season and first in a Red Wings uniform with a single through the left side in the 6th inning scoring Chris Herrmann who led off the inning with a double.

-RHP Tim Wood tossed a scoreless 8th inning in his second rehab appearance with the Red Wings on Monday... He allowed a two-out walk and base hit before getting DH Mark Hamilton to fly out to deep center to end the inning.

-The Wings went 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position and on the season are hitting just .148 with RISP (22-for-149)... 7 of those 22 hits came in one game on 4/7 vs. BUF (7-for-20).

-After yielding 5 runs in top of the 9th inning before leaving with a stiff back, RHP Anthony Slama is now 0-3 with a 46.29 ERA (12 ER/2.1 IP) in 4 games against Pawtucket this season.
