Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The Pigs (7-9) will play the finale of a four-game series against the first-place Buffalo Bisons (11-4) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 4-1 loss yesterday, the Pigs have lost three consecutive home games for the first time this season and are 0-3 in this series following their impressive 5-2 road trip... The Bisons -- now Toronto's top affiliate -- have won all seven contests so far on their eight-game road trip. In fact, the seven-game winning streak matched their 2012 season-high set July 5-14. The Bisons entered the series after an historical performance in a 27-9 romp at Syracuse on Thursday.
RHP Tyler Cloyd (0-2, 7.07) will start for LHV against RHP Justin Germano (2-1, 8.44).
Today is Education Day #1, presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network... First-Pitch is scheduled for 10:35 a.m.
Following this game, the Pigs will embark on an eight-game, West Division road trip through Indianapolis (12-6) and Louisville (9-8). They will begin against the Indians at Victory Field on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.
