Red Wings 2013 Spring Training Outlook

Rochester Red Wings News Release
ROCHESTER - Red Wings players report to Spring Training at the Lee County Sports Complex in Fort Myers, Florida one month from today and they will play 21 exhibition games before arriving in Rochester on Monday, April 1 for the start of the regular season. The 85th-Annual Welcome Home Dinner is set for Tuesday, April 2 and Opening Day is Thursday, April 4 at Buffalo. The home opener at Frontier Field is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 vs. Buffalo at 1:05 p.m.
Red Wings players report to Fort Myers on March 5 and undergo physicals the next day. The first workout is March 7 and exhibition games begin March 11 with an intra-camp contest against the Double-A New Britain club. The Red Wings will play 13 of their 21 Spring Training contests at Lee County Sports Complex. The complete schedule (all games at 1:05 p.m. unless otherwise noted):
