
Red Stars host Marta, Los Angeles in Sunday home finale

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - Three-time defending FIFA World Player of the Year Marta will make her only TOYOTA Park appearance of 2009 when the Chicago Red Stars host the Los Angeles Sol Sunday for a 5 pm match.
It will be the third meeting of the season between the Red Stars and Sol, which has already wrapped up the Women's Professional Soccer regular season title. The two teams split a 1-1 decision in their first meeting and Los Angeles handed Chicago a 4-0 defeat in the second.
Besides Brazilian star Marta, the Sol feature Canadian goalkeeper Karina LeBlanc who leads WPS with 12 clean sheets and has allowed just six goals in 17 matches played. The game will also be a homecoming for the Sol's Brittany Bock, who starred at Naperville's Neuqua Valley High School and collegiately at the University of Notre Dame.
