
Red Stars Fall against OL Reign 1-2

Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Red Stars fell to OL Reign 2-1 in the second match of the preseason tournament.
Red Stars rookie, Ava Cook, scored the lone goal for the club. Cook, out of Michigan State University, was the Red Stars' first pick in the 2022 National Women's Soccer League Draft. In the second half the team had a couple of good shots at OL Reign's goal, but couldn't find the back of the net.
The Red Stars' final preseason match is Friday, March 11, at 9:30 p.m. CT against the Portland Thorns.
