Red Claws Rack up More Awards

PORTLAND - April 22, 2015 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, have two representatives on the NBA Development League's All NBA D-League teams for the 2014-15 season.

The league announced today that Tim Frazier has been named First Team All NBA D-League, as well as First Team All-Rookie. Frazier was also named Second Team All Defensive. Just yesterday, Frazier was named D-League MVP and Rookie of the Year, just the second player ever to win both awards in the same season.

Additionally, Chris Babb was named to the Second Team All NBA D-League, as well as the Third Team All-Defensive.

Both Frazier and Babb were named NBA D-League All-Stars this season, and both earned GATORADE Call-Ups - Frazier signed two 10-day contracts with Philadelphia in February and then signed a multi-year contract with Portland in March; Babb signed a multi-year contract with the Boston Celtics this month.

In 41 games with Maine, Frazier averaged 16.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game. He earned D-League Performer of the Week honors three times, and recorded four triple-doubles, both league highs.

In 45 games with the Red Claws, Babb averaged 15.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
