Round Rock Express News Release
ROUND ROCK, Texas - Tickets for the 10th annual Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball Jam are on sale now! Bigger and better than ever, this year's Jam will take place on Sunday, September 23 at Dell Diamond.
An all-star lineup of musicians, professional athletes and celebrities, led by brothers Willy and Cody Braun, will come together once again for nine innings of talent-optional, antic-filled softball followed by an all-day concert on two stages in the outfield at Dell Diamond.
General Admission tickets to the event start at $25 with a limited number of VIP tickets for $75. Fans who purchase tickets before July 6, 2018 will be entered into a contest for the chance to win a VIP package that includes front row seats for the softball game, access to the VIP Lounge with food, drinks and exclusive live performances, admission to the VIP sections for both centerfield stages, as well as Reckless Kelly merchandise. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking this link.
Joining the 10th anniversary Jam are musicians Micky & The Motorcars, Cody Canada, Midnight River Choir, Jamie Wilson, Wade Bowen and George Devore. Former MLB stars Brooks Kieschnick, Norm Charlton, Randy Wells, Glenn Wilson, Jr. and Glenn Wilson, Sr. will join former NFL and Texas Longhorns standout Kasey Studdard on the field.
KSGR's Andy Langer will once again emcee the event, alongside fellow media stars Charlie Hodge, B-Doe, Erin Hogan, Eric Raines, Addie Broyles and Anne Hudson.
Additional artists, athletes and talent will be announced in the coming weeks.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Miracle League at Town and Country and their mission to make it possible for children with disabilities to play the game of baseball. Since its inception, the Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball Jam has raised over $400,000 for area youth leagues, including the funding of a $150,000 renovation of Mabson Field in East Austin.
